Norman Reedus teases an epic Walking Dead finale

The Rick v Negan showdown is coming.

The moment is almost upon us. In two weeks’ time, The Walking Dead will air the finale for its seventh season– and we’d highly suggest watching it.

Cancel you plans, put on your best trackies and settle in because the highly-anticipated battle between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is here.

We’re so excited, we can barely type. And we’re not the only ones.

TWD star Norman Reedus – who plays Daryl Dixon – has even likened the showdown to Mel Gibson’s Braveheart while discussing the epic finale.

“It’s completely different than all the other [season finales],” the 48-year-old told Entertainment Weekly. “It has similar elements, but it’s completely different, and, you know, there might be a little William Wallace [Mel Gibson’s character] in it.”

Just like the famous Scottish lad himself, Rick and his band of followers aren’t prepared to let Negan take their freedom.

“It’s nice to finally let a window open up in this room and let some of this air out of here,” says Norman. “It’s nice to get some freedom and some dirt underneath your feet and start running towards killing this guy.”

Lead us into battle Rick!
