This year’s Bachelorette might be bi-sexual – is that the sound of progress we hear?

Like the past two seasons, there will be a bunch of lads vying for the Bachelorette's heart. But this year, they could be mixing things up...
The Bachelorette Australia, The Bachelorette

We couldn’t contain our excitement when we found out the gorgeous Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson was going to be this year’s Bachelor, but this latest news has us more excited about The Bachelorette.

While an announcement of who the lucky lady is going to be is still some time away, it’s been revealed that the new Bachelorette could in fact be bi-sexual.

And three cheers for progress, we say!

According to the show’s contestant application, the show’s third season is after “Single Men” AND “Single Women” between the ages of 25 and 35.

This is so exciting – props for getting with the times, guys!

But that’s not the only part of the intense application process that’s getting people talking right now, with some of the form’s questions raising some eyebrows.

Yep, wannabe Bachelorette contestants have to go through rigorous 13-page interrogation before they can even get close to accepting a rose, including how many sexual partners they’ve had, how often they have sexual intercourse and if they have a sex-tape!

Even former Bachie babe Rachael Gouvignon reveals she got a little hot under the collar at the crazy questions, and even refused to answer the one about how many sexual partners she’d had.

“That was the only I didn’t answer,” she told The Daily Telegraph recently. “They don’t need to know, what’s that got to do with anything?”

You tell ’em girlfriend.
