In this week’s issue of Woman’s Day, we meet the first ever baby from the Married At First Sight Australia series!

If ever there was proof that good things come to those who wait, this is it.

Zoe Hendrix is clearly overjoyed to share parenthood with her partner Alex Garner.

The loved up couple welcomed their beautiful and healthy baby girl, Harper-Rose Garner, on November 14.

Harper-Rose Garner was born on November 14, 2016 at 10:35pm. The darling tot weighs 3.37kg and is 52cm.

Zoe and Alex confirmed they were expecting to us back in May.

“This moment has been a
long time coming,” the 27-year-old explains as she cradles her two-week-old.

“I still can’t believe she’s here.”

“Sitting here holding something so precious – that is a part of me, that is my blood – is something
I’ve always dreamt of, and I will cherish it forever.”

Since welcoming Harper-Rose into the world, life has become better than ever for Alex and Zoe, who fell madly in love on Nine’s Married at First Sight in 2015.

“Zoe was made to be a mum,” says an awestruck Alex.

But the road to motherhood wasn’t without its complication.

Zoe, who suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last year, talks to Woman’s Day about the birth and how Harper-Rose has changed her views on her incredible adopted parents.
