TV WEEK are proud partners of Love Your Sister’s The Big Heart Project. The fundraising kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday, May 10, from 7am at the Lyneham Netball Courts in Canberra.

Connie will be laying the first coin nice and early at 8am – so remember to bring all your five cent pieces along to add to the heart!

Connie needs 3.951 million five cent coins (that’s $195,755.05) to break this record. Every donated coin will go towards breast cancer research.

The TV WEEK team will be there on the day – so be sure to pop by our stall if you’re planning on heading along to the event. We’re building a HUGE Gold Logie out of gold coins so bring any spare change along with you.

We will also have a photo booth set up on site where you can pose alongside His Royal Logieness Sam and be the star of your very own TV WEEK cover!

The Love Your Sister team have been busy with the last minute preparations for all the activities on the day.

Head to the Love Your Sister Facebook Page for all the details – however, to give you a taste, you can expect everything from giant games, novelty bikes, wandering circus performers, face painting, a jumping castle, live music and more. There will also be plenty of food and drink available on the day.

Connie and Sam have lined up some very special guests to attend the event including some of the nation’s leading cancer researchers, who will be available to answer questions on the day. There will also be information from a number of local and national services for people who have cancer or supporting a family member with cancer.

Meet His Royal Logieness on the day.

If you are able to make it to the event, we encourage you to come down, enjoy the family fun, help raise money for a wonderful cause and say hi to the TV WEEK team!
