We all remember Laura Linney’s character Sarah from the original Love Actually movie.

The whole world shed a collective tear when she didn’t get her happy ending with her hunky co-worker Karl (Rodrigo Santoro), whom she’d been crushing on for “two years, seven months, three days and I’d say about an hour and thirty minutes”.

The good news is Laura has signed on for the charity sequel Red Nose Day Actually, which is raising money for Red Nose Day.

This might seem strange considering the fact that it has already aired in the UK, but it has been revealed that when it is released in the US, a new scene with Laura Linney’s character Sarah will be included!

Laura immediately signed on to the project, telling Entertainment Weekly that there’s no way she could’ve refused the offer.

“I said yes, obviously. How could I say no? And right away we were figuring out our schedules,” Laura said.

Laura will begin shooting her scenes for the sequel in April, but she doesn’t yet know what her character Sarah is doing.

“I have no idea what I’m doing yet. Not a clue,” she said.

The US version of Red Nose Day Actually will air in the US on May 25. We can’t wait to find out what happened to Sarah and the gorgeous Karl!
