So let us help you cast your mind back to these glorious, romantic weddings and relive the heartwarming love stories of our favourite Home and Away couples.

Aden & Belle

Never have the vows “in sickness and in health” meant more than on the day of Belle and Aden’s wedding. It was a bittersweet occasion, as Belle (Jessica Tovey) had terminal cancer and wasn’t expected to live long. “Babe, I’d be a fool not to marry you,” Aden (Todd Lasance) told Belle.

Jessica told TV WEEK when she does marry, her own wedding will be slightly different to her on-screen trips down the aisle.

“After wearing so many wedding dresses, I’ll probably just get married in shorts and a T-shirt!” Jessica said.

Vinnie & Leah

A whole raft of meddling family members couldn’t derail this big day! Vinnie (Ryan Kwanten) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou) combined their Scottish and Greek heritage for their big church wedding.

“At the time, I hadn’t been married before and it was the first time I’d put on a veil,” Ada, 38, tells TV WEEK “It was lovely – I love a Home And Away wedding.”

However, Ada reveals the corset on the wedding dress was very tight!

“I wore that bloody dress for two weeks and I was all bruised because it was boned,” she laughingly reveals of what filming the scenes were really like.

Sally & Flynn

The little girl we’d watched grow up finally headed down the aisle. Sally (Kate Ritchie) had a few obstacles to overcome on her wedding day – a runaway horse and rain clouds! But, she made it to the altar to wed Flynn (Joel McIlroy). Her dress may have been torn and mud-stained, but that wasn’t going to stop this wedding.

“Even though I’ve done a lot of great things since, Sally will always have a special place in my heart,” Kate, 37, tells TV WEEK.

Noah & Hayley

Accompanied by the ghost of her late father, Hayley walked down the aisle to marry Noah. The beachside Summer Bay ceremony took place underneath a white canopy.

“May I speak to you with my eyes, may I listen to you with my heart,” the two said in their touching vows.

Noah (Beau Brady) and Hayley (Bec Hewitt) then celebrated a joint wedding reception with Kane (Sam Atwell) and Kirsty (Christie Hayes), who had renewed their vows.

Shane & Angel

One of the most memorable Summer Bay weddings was that of Shane and Angel. Who can forget a wheelchair-bound Angel (Melissa George) rising to her feet to walk down the aisle to meet Shane (Dieter Brummer)?

“You look beautiful,” Shane told her when she reached him at the altar.

The teen lovers tied the knot only weeks after Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) hit Angel in his car, leaving her paralysed.

Martha & Jack

Here’s a couple who had not one, but two attempts at getting hitched. Martha (Jodi Gordon) and Jack’s (Paul O’Brien) vows at the first wedding referenced their journey to the altar. It included nudie runs and the “fake spider” incident.

The wedding was ruined when the Summer Bay stalker caused an explosion at their reception. Both survived, but their marriage later broke down and Martha moved out. Their second wedding took place in the hospital grounds after Martha had battled cancer and lost her unborn baby.
