The third couple to leave House Rules are…

We’re sad to see them go!
House Rules

Tasmanian paramedics Sean and Ella have been eliminated from House Rules. But that doesn’t mean they won’t be doing any more designing.

Ella tells TV WEEK that she and fiancé Sean are ready to try a new career.

“I’ve always been interested in design,” she says. “And Sean and I are both so young, and we don’t have a family or anything yet, so we’re always open to doing something else for a while.”

Ella, 24, says she and Sean have already been paramedics for a few years.

“We love our job, but at the end of the day, we can always be paramedics. If something were to come up, in design or interiors or anything like that, we definitely would be open to it. We’ve both had so much fun renovating and being on the show.”

Judge Wendy Moore has high praise for the Tassie duo.

“I think they delivered some really beautiful rooms – like, stellar,” she says. “They delivered something nice pretty much everywhere.”

Wendy particularly loved the floral dining room wall in WA and the curved timber lounge room wall in Queensland.

“That’s high-end design,” she says. “I can see people wanting to imitate that.”

Fans of Ella and Sean will also be happy to hear that WA twins Andrew and Jono don’t hold any grudges over the bedsheet incident. Ella told the twins that the sheets they hung from the patio roof in Kate and Harry’s house looked good, even though she didn’t think they did.

“I wouldn’t care if she said they looked awful secretly,” Andrew tells TV WEEK. “We would joke around with them, wind each other up a bit. I’d find it funny.

“I think I probably got along with Sean and Ella the best in the competition.”
