Slowly but surely we’ve been seeing pictures from the set of Bridget Jones’s Baby and we think you’ll agree that it looks incredible.
Although she’s been in the biz for 23 years, we most fondly remember Renee Zellweger as Bridget Jones, and the world is waiting with bated breath to see her reprise her hugely popular role that began in 2001.
And if the latest photos, which were snapped in London over the weekend, of the upcoming film are anything to go by, it’s set to be a rather juicy flick.
Spotted for the first time on location was new-comer Patrick Dempsey, and although his exact role in the franchise hasn’t been confirmed, the fact that his character is kissing Bridget can mean only one thing – he’s competing with Mark Darcy for her heart!
Colin Firth, who plays Mr Darcy, was also on set, and the three lead actors can be seen sharing a laugh off camera.
In the first two movies love-rat Daniel Cleaver, played by Hugh Grant, was one of Bridget’s love interest but the 55-year-old actor revealed he won’t be taking part in the sequel – so perhaps McDreamy take the role of Lothario.

The name of Patrick Dempsey’s character hasn’t been revealed just yet but it’s clear he makes Bridget Jones pretty happy.
Sporting a baby bump, the 46-year-old kept cosy in an overcoat and sturdy boots.
She’s still clumsy though! Who could forget the fireman pole incident in the first movie?
Patrick Dempsey, Colin Firth and Renee Zellweger have been working on the film, shot at various locations in the UK, since at mid-September.
It looks like Renee is just as taken with Colin in real life as she is in the film.
Looks like Christmas will be have a special part to play in the new film too.
