Another woman has accused Harvey Weinstein of rape, and the details are incredibly upsetting.
Mimi Haleyi, a former production assistant who worked on an unnamed Weinstein Company production, claims the disgraced film producer forced himself on her orally while she was menstruating.
The assault reportedly happened in his Manhattan residence a decade ago, when Haleyi was in her twenties.
“He wouldn’t take no for an answer and backed me into a room which was not lit, but looked like a kid’s bedroom with drawings on the walls,” she said in a press conference held by lawyer Gloria Allred.
“He held me down on the bed, I tried to get him off of me but it was impossible. He was extremely persistent and physically overpowering.”
“He then orally forced himself on me while I was on my period. He even pulled my tampon out. I was in disbelief. I would not have wanted anyone to do that with me even if the person had been a romantic partner.”
She added: “I remember Harvey after rolling onto his back afterwards saying, ‘Don’t you think we are so much closer to each other now?’ To which I replied, ‘No.'”
Weinstein has “unequivocally denied” any allegations of nonconsensual sex.

More than 50 women have come out with sexual harassment and assault allegations against Weinstein, among them actresses Rose McGowan, Gwyneth Paltrow and Asia Argento.
As previously reported, the New York Police Department has launched a criminal investigation into the movie mogul.
While no formal criminal complaints have been filed against the disgraced film producer, police are investigating an allegation that he sexually assaulted someone in 2004. They’re also carrying out a “review” looking for new complaints against him.
“Based on information referenced in published news reports the NYPD is conducting a review to determine if there are any additional complaints relating to the Harvey Weinstein matter,” Lt John Grimpel of the NYPD said in a statement.
He added: “No filed complaints have been identified as of this time and as always, the NYPD encourages anyone who may have information pertaining to this matter to call the CrimeStoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.”
Following the allegations, Weinstein spent a week in an Arizona sex addiction rehab.
Speaking with the New York Post, an unnamed police official described the Hollywood heavyweight as a “super predator.”
“He’s a super predator,” the official said. “His conduct shows he’s been at this a long time, and he’s a professional at it.”
“He’s been at this so long, there’s no way there are not other victims out there,” they continued. “Imagine how many promises he’s made to these young women who were trying to make it into the industry.”
London’s Metropolitan police have also opened an inquiry into the Hollywood producer’s alleged actions.
