Marilyn Monroe is one of Hollywood’s most enduring icons and she would have celebrated her 90th birthday this week on June 1.
Born Norma Jean Mortenson, she started her career as a model before transitioning into acting with unforgettable roles in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch and of course, Some Like It Hot.
Marilyn oozed Hollywood glamour and charisma however; she sadly passed away in 1962 at the age of 36.
