Filming for Bachelor in Paradise has resumed following the recent scandal but our local stars are definitely not making a cameo.

In a major plot twist, Bachelor in Paradise is set to resume filming after it was shut down due to allegations of sexual misconduct on set.

Yep, Warner Bros. have concluded that there is no evidence to support the claims and season four is back on track.

But, what does this mean for our home-grown Bachie babes, Samuel Johnston and Keira Maguire?

The duo were all geared up to appear on the US reality series until the scandal threw a spanner in the works.

“I had my bags packed and [was] ready to go,” Keria told us earlier this week.

While Sam added he was “glad to have not been part of a show where that kind of thing can happen.

Unfortunately, the pair have pulled the plug on their appearance.

“I definitely think it was a sign when I got the call [about the show being cancelled], it was a weight off my shoulders,” Keira revealed to NW.

“Even if they ask me [to come back] I’ll be like ‘sorry I’m in Sardinia,'” the Sydney socialite added of her upcoming European holiday.

As for Sam, he dished to The Daily Mail that he “never will do Bachelor In Paradise.”

Damn!

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. released a statement on Tuesday about the investigation.

“As we previously stated, we recently became aware of allegations regarding an incident on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. We take all such allegations seriously,” it began.

“The safety, security and well-being of the cast and crew is our No. 1 concern, and we suspended filming so that the allegations could be investigated immediately and thoroughly Our internal investigation, conducted with the assistance of an outside law firm, has now been completed.”

The production company revealed that they will not be releasing any footage of the incident out of privacy for the involved contestants, Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.

“We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy,” revealed the spokesperson.

“Production on this season of Bachelor in Paradise will be resuming, and we plan to implement certain changes to the show’s policies and procedures to enhance and further ensure the safety and security of all participants.”

But, only hours after the statement was made, Corinne Olympios and her legal team announced that their own investigation will continue.

“Our own investigation will continue based on multiple new witnesses coming forward revealing what they saw and heard.”
