When the cameras are rolling to tell the story of Bruce Jenner’s gender transition to Caitlyn, you couldn’t get a more supportive bunch than Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian.
But a new report in American magazine Us Weekly, a publication with close ties to the reality TV family, suggests that the famous trio are no longer talking to their stepfather because of the way she has treated their mum, Kris.
“There’s not a lot of love for Caitlyn,” a close source tells the publication.
Until now, Kim has been one of Caitlyn’s closest confidants.
Apparently, the tension stems from the fact that Caitlyn appears to have gone rogue from the well-oiled Kardashian publicity machine, starting with appearing on the cover Vanity Fair in April without keeping the rest of the clan in the loop.
“Vanity Fair was the start of the downfall. It came out and they looked like idiots. They first saw the article on Twitter!” Says the source.
Given that mum Kris has micro-managed and masterminded the family’s media appearances since they first shot to fame, it’s little wonder Caitlyn’s solo publicity appearances has raised the ire of the rest of her family.
Further fuelling flames of discontentment are Caitlyn’s thinly-veiled verbal jabs at her ex-wife in media interviews.

“The Kardashians were furious once they realised. A lot of times [Caitlyn] wasn’t very nice. She has this aura around her that she is better than them. The bad blood has led to a cease in communication,” says the source. “They are so incensed that they may well be done with Caitlyn for good.”
Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe are fed up with Caitlyn’s jibes about their mum.
The eldest Kardashian sisters are said to be warning Caitlyn that she wouldn’t be as famous as she is without their support.
“They feel Caitlyn needs to understand that the platform she has now, and her money, are because of Kris. She had nothing before Kris,” says the source. “Don’t bite the hand that fed you.”
