In the words of her elder sister Khloe, “Kylie is not a normal 18-year-old”. And if that wasn’t obvious enough from her range of expensive cars, lip injections and her very public relationship with 25-year-old rapper Tyga, just take a peek inside her first home!

Following a string of personal videos about decorating, make up and styling, Kylie posted yet another house tour video of her Calabasas mansion on the Kylie Jenner app, just hours ago.

Hosting the tour herself, 18-year-old Kylie shows us around the huge mansion, including her sitting room, her extensive closet (lined with ‘Hermes Birkin orange’) and – of course – her bedroom.

“I was debating showing you guys my bedroom, because it’s really personal,” said Kylie in the video, “But I spent a lot of time doing it, so I’m going to show you anyway.”

In the video, Kylie revealed the room, which is decorated in mostly light hues of beige, grey and taupe and is locked with a passcode, was modelled off her old room at her mother, Kris’, house.

“The bedroom in my mom’s house was super dark,” she says. “It was all black, the walls are black, the floors were black, the bedding was black.”

And aside from changing the colour palette, the reality star also revealed her favourite personal touches she added to the décor including a mini fridge filled with “just water”, her boyfriend Tyga’s mugshot, which she has framed, and the skull lamp on her bedside table.

“I love skulls. They’re my favourite things ever,” Kylie revealed.

But despite spending millions of dollars on the renovations, Kylie also mentioned that she made one huge decorating mistake – making her shower black.

“I made the worst mistake,” said Kylie, commenting that she ‘can’t see’ in the black shower, “I don’t know where I’m shaving.”

‘I can’t see anything!’. A re-tile may be in order for Kylie’s all-black bathroom.

In a separate post on her website, the 18-year-old discusses how “the sense of independence” from leaving home at 17 “is an awesome feeling”, but “hard work”.

“I was so excited to move out of my mom’s house for so long, but now that it’s here, it’s honestly not as exciting as I expected it to be. It takes a lot of work to make a house a home,” said Kylie, “But the sense of independence is an awesome feeling.”

“I love that now I go grocery shopping and everything I buy goes into my refrigerator and it’s for me; it doesn’t just disappear because someone else thought it looked good.”
