George and Amal Clooney’s glamorous date

George and Amal Clooney are loving life in New York, especially visiting fine dining establishments.

The couple stepped out for a romantic dinner at Babbo, a low-key Italian restaurant.

Amal looked beautiful in a Giambattista Valli designer dress while George coordinated with his Mrs in an all-black suit.

Eyewitnesses noticed Amal was in a great mood, happily chatting to the staff from the restaurant.

The couple who wed in Venice back in September have been enjoying a string NYC foodie themed dates, dining at Kappo Masa, Patsy’s, Café Boulud and elsewhere.

Amal has been enjoying her time on the east coast, as she teaches at the Columbia Law School while George is shooting the New York-based film, Money Monster, starring Julia Roberts.

While George and Amal are lapping up their time in the Big Apple, they have concerns about their Lake Como home.

George has enlisted the help of local Italian authorities and the town mayor, to deter trespassers and prying eyes when he is at his Lake Como home with his wife.

In fact the actor, along with authorities warns that anyone who bothers him, Amal, his friends or should anyone try to set foot on his property, they will face hefty fines.

Roberto Pozzi, the mayor of Laglio, has issued a new ordinance to protect George’s privacy and prevent people from bothering him or Amal while they’re in the exclusive enclave.

It will set you back 500 Euros should you get caught! We’d recommend a lawyer if you do, but maybe not Amal!
