Just days after Woman’s Day revealed that Fifi Box had fallen for her Neighbours co-star Damien Richardson, it has been confirmed that the actor has split from his wife and the couple has been secretly dating for months.

“Fifi and Damien fell for each other of the set of Neighbours and have been seeing each other for some time now,” spills our source.

Despite doing their best to keep their relationship hush-hush the new couple were spotted kissing as they enjoyed a date at Kew’s QPO café, as well as enjoying clandestine meet-ups at Grace Park in Hawthorn and Studley Park Boathouse in Abbotsford.

Meanwhile, Damien’s agent has confirmed that the actor “has been separated for some time” from his wife Nicole, who is the mother of his three children Maisie, Bertie and Lottie.

Mother of one Fifi, 39, reportedly fell for former City Homicide actor Damien after joining the Neighbours team in July. In November the budding actress couldn’t help but giggle excitedly as she recounted kissing former City Homicide star Damien repeatedly during rehearsals.

Damien and Fifi’s sizzling on-screen chemistry has spilled into real life!

The new couple have been enjoying a slew of secret dates.

“We kissed four times! You do the long shot, the close up, and then I stuffed up once… so you have to do that again. We go back for more and back for more,” she laughed as she recalled her first on air pash to her The Project co-hosts last month.

Friends say that the Fifi became quite enamoured with the actor, who has starred in some of Australia’s most popular shows, including Blue Heelers, The Secret Life Of Us and Jack Irish.

“Fifi and Damien formed a really close friendship while she was on the show,” spills an insider. “She has always dreamt of being an actress and is a bit in awe of his incredible career – they just clicked.”

A fond farewell. Fifi’s Neighbours co-stars, including Damien, sent her off with a special dinner.

“Fifi and Damien formed a really close friendship while she was on the show,” our source says.

When Fifi’s role on the show ended a few weeks ago, Damien, 47, along with co-stars Collette Mann and Lilly van der Meer, took the mother-of-one out for dinner to celebrate.

Collette later shared a snap of the close-knit group out together on Instagram, captioning it, “The Canning family were all smiles at the Goodbye Fifi dinner… We call want you back!”

To which Fifi replied, “I loved this night so much!”

It looks like 2017 is going to be love filled for the presenter-turned-actress, who finally confirmed her daughter Trixie’s father is Grant Kenny earlier this year.

Back on the market: Damien’s agent has confirmed that the actor “has been separated for some time” from his wife Nicole.
