Boy George calls out George Michael’s partner Fadi Fawaz over Twitter hack

Following tweets posted on Fawaz’s account, stating George Michael wanted to die, and had tried numerous times in the past.

Boy George has come under fire for suggesting the tweets posted on Fadi Fawaz’s account weren’t a result of his account being hacked.

After George Michael’s untimely passing on Christmas Day, a series of tweets were posted on his Aussie boyfriend’s account saying Michael wanted to die. Fawaz quickly deleted the tweets, claiming somebody had hacked into his account.

Now Boy George has got himself into hot water on Twitter – for suggesting Fawaz’s account wasn’t hacked AND because he made an untrue generalisation about bisexual people.

In a now-deleted Tweet, Boy George wrote: “Ok. ‘My computer got hacked’ is like ‘I’m bisexual’ or ‘I’m sniffing because I have allergies’”

Users were quick to slam the star, saying it was ‘biphobic’ and bisexual people should be recognised in the same way as other members of the LGBT community.

However the star defended himself , in his own inimitable way…

It comes as Fadi Fawaz has been questioned by police as they try to piece together the final hours of the singer’s life.

Fawaz, who found George dead on Christmas Day, spoke to officers to help them prepare a report for the coroner.
