Bec Judd’s exciting new gig

How does she find the time?!
Bec Judd

Bec Judd is no stranger to the public eye, with nearly 600k followers on Instragram watching her every move.

Now the mother-of-four is taking to the airwaves, joining Yumi Stynes and Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond to host their own national radio program on the KIIS Network. The afternoon 3PM Pick Up will run from 3-4pm, and will go head-to-head with Carrie Bickmore’s new show in the same time slot.

“I’m so excited about joining the girl gang on the 3PM Pick Up. This will be my first foray into radio; I haven’t done anything like this before,” Rebecca said in a statement.

KIIS Network content director Duncan Campbell said the 3PM Pick Up is “an entertaining afternoon show that helps our listeners keep in touch with the real conversations that women are having every day around the country.”

“Our new 2017 hosts Monty, Rebecca and Yumi are a mix of media professionals, bloggers, business owners, and mums who have a serious social media footprint that has turned them into personalities with real influence among their engaged audience,” Campbell continued.

Bec Judd first made waves as a WAG when she married AFL superstar Chris Judd in 2010, and became a household name presenting weather on TV in Melbourne. Late last year, Bec resigned from her weekend weather-presenting duties to spend more time with her growing family; her youngest twins now just four months old.

“I don’t want to look back on these years and regret not spending days together,” Rebecca said on TV at the time of departure. “I’ve deliberated about it for six months and we need some time together as a family. When I found out I was having twins I thought I’m not sure I can go back to working weekends.”

However, this new venture won’t be as much commitment for the glamorous mum and will add another line to the CV, which also includes designing a line of homewares for Adairs and launching a fitness label, Jaggad, with her hubby.
