Adele opens up about pumping breast milk at the Oscars

The 27-year-old singer has spoken about dashing out of the Oscars to avoid ruining her dress.

Adele has never been afraid to keep it real, and her latest admission to Observer Magazine will have new mums nodding in sympathy.

The 27-year-old British superstar has spoken about how she had to keep running out of the 2013 Oscar awards ceremony to avoid a breast milk related catastrophe.

It was one of her first public appearances since the birth of her son Angelo, and she had to duck out of the glitzy affair several times to keep from ruining her dress.

And she wasn’t the only one; the singer revealed that she was joined in the bathroom by a line of other stars feeding their babies or pumping breast milk.

“(I was) running to the toilet, between awards, to pump-and-dump (breast milk). Which loads of people were doing, by the way,” she said.

“All these Hollywood superstars, lined up and breastfeeding in the ladies’.

“No, I can’t say who. Because I saw their t-ts!”

Adele was attending the awards ceremony after picking up a Best Song nomination for her Bond-theme hit Skyfall.

And, despite spending a lot of the ceremony in the bathroom, she had an incredible night, scooping the Oscar.

The track also landed her a slew of other awards, including a Grammy and a Golden Globe.

It seems that another set of awards can’t be too far behind- her latest single Hello went platinum over the weekend, and her highly anticipated new album 25 drops on Friday.
