From Blake Lively’s perfectly symmetrical nose to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini textbook smile, there’s a slew of A-listers having subtle surgery to help refine their look.

And while you may not notice it at first glance, when you pull up the retro photos it hits you in the face harder than a syringe full of Botox.

To find exactly what these stars have had done Woman’s Day spoke to plastic surgeon Dr James Southwell-Keely, who has not treated these people but has years of experience in the field.

Cheryl Maitland from Married at First Sight appears to have tweaked her look in the last few years, if her explosive Instagram is anything to go by. Aside from toning down her makeup and lightening her hair colour, there appear to have been a few other subtle adjustments made.

Dannii Minogue has opened up on how botox was her “crutch” during “tough times” in her life. “There was a lot of pain in my personal life and I felt more settled using Botox. I’m clearly not using it now! I am in a good place,” she told The Mirror.

Only a year ago (L) Taylor Swift’s silhouette was markedly different! These days (R), the star’s subtle yet more pert cleavage has prompted a wave of speculation.

The year was 2005 and Blake Lively (L) was making her mark on the small screen with a much larger honker than she sports today. So what’s the verdict? Dr James Southwell-Keely says Blake has “definitely” had a nose job. “Her nose is less broad through the middle and less bulbous at the tip,” he tells us.

And that’s not all Blake’s apparently had done! “Her breast augmentation is a give away,” Dr James Southwell-Keely tells us. Watch a young Blake Lively talk about fashion. Gallery continues after the video!

This throwback video of Blake Lively is so damn cute it hurts

There’s no denying Queen Bey, pictured in 2000 on the left and 2016 on the right, has changed up her look over the years with many fans pointing out how different her nose has become. According to our expert, the singer has had a “nose job with gentle refinements.”

Angelina Jolie is often praised for keeping it real but our expert believes the mother-of-six has undergone a “nose job and subtle refinements.”

She rose to fame as the girl next door, who took out the Miss Universe competition in 2004 (L) but fast-forward to the present day and Jennifer Hawkins is “showing the hallmarks of too much filler,” says Dr James Southwell-Keely.

In 2006 (L) Nicole Richie sported a much smaller bust compared to now (R).

“Nicole has had a subtle boob job and a really nice nose job bringing balance to her nose and face,” Dr James Southwell-Keely claims.

“Her youthful nose is too long and too wide for her face. Her adult nose is more refined yet far from perfect – there looks to be a gentle C-shaped deformity with a persistently wide mid-vault and a poorly defined tip,” Dr James Southwell-Keely reveals of Jennifer Aniston’s changing face.

In 1982 (L) John Travolta was Hollywood’s biggest heartthrob, nowadays, aged 64, the Grease star’s face is very wrinkle-free for a man his age. According to plastic surgeon Dr James Southwell-Kelly, the actor’s raised hairline indicates a “micro-follicular hair transplantation to conceal a receding hairline or a frontal eyebrow lift.”

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s smile has rapidly changed since 2001 (L) and her nose also appears to have narrowed. “[She’s had] veneers but unfortunately she’s also had an overdone nose job with a pointy tip, narrow dorsal aesthetic line and poorly supported nostrils,” our surgeon says.

Ashlee Simpson’s nose job “gives her face a wonderful balance.” While the mother-of-two “looks to have had a chemical brow lift, Botox and upper lip fillers.”

All eyes were on Tom Cruise and his very shiny forehead when he attended the BAFTA Awards in London earlier this year. The 53-year-old, pictured on the left in 2005, hasn’t aged a day and our expert says it’s all thanks to “fillers or a fat transfer to his face.”
